If there's one thing we have learned over the last 16 years, it's that you're never guaranteed a great day. We have cake. We have cupcakes. We have homemade candles. We also have a river coming out of our f$ ceiling and have to close today. This certainly isn't our first setback and won't be the last. We are gonna take the day to clean, figure out our options and reset. We will be back tomorrow. Go see some of our friends today. Wilson & Washburn , Kitchen Table , american burger, The Grove Juicery, or anyone needing some love along the streetcar route. Posted the 1 star review we just got because its funny and ironic on what is supposed to be a super fun day, thats all. When everything sucks, laughter and food is the best medicine. BLOCK 16 turns 16 this year! It's our sweet 16 and instead of hiding in our room, smoking w**d and listening to the Nevermind album all day, we took the day to make candles. Yep. We teamed up with North 40 Premium Beef, Real Honest Tallow and used some Evetta Farms beeswax and made these badass candles for you. We have limited quantities but they'll be up for grabs tomorrow as well as celebration cupcakes from our incredible friends at the Sugar Makery BitterSweet . Come celebrate with us. Its been a hell of a ride and we have all of you to thank.

Monday: smoked PCF pulled chicken, buffalo style, tossed with raclette gouda mac and cheese, balled up and fried with bacon jalapeño ranch for dipping

Tuesday: lobster rolls!

Wednesday: lobster crab arancinis with house clam chowder in a mini house sourdough breadbowl

Thursday: tostadas: choice of Cold smoked salmon agua chile or blackened fi salmon

Friday and Saturday: traditional roast beef dinner...ish. 26 hour wagyu roast, soaked in demi glace with glazed l9cal carrots and bone marrow mashed potatoes

We cannot thank you enough Omaha. Come celebrate with us tomorrow!!!!

Happy Halloween!!!!! Nothing spookier than 24 hour salsa verde braised angus beef cachete. Tossed with fire roasted poblanos, local sweet onions and asadero cheese. Stuffed in empanada dough and fried crispy. Served with mole Blanco for dipping. Add a 3rd empanada for only 2 bucks. Caramelized butternut squash soup too. Here til 730 tonight so the staff can go party. Get down here!!!

B16 Campfire griller. Or is it now the coojar wich? Well, as long as you're paying for it, you can call it whatever you want. But its the one you've been asking for. Orange and tamarind marinated North 40 Premium Beef American wagyu flank steak. havarti, charcoal grilled Schoolhouse gardens onion, horseradish mayo and traditional chimichurri on a garlic butter griddled Le Quartier Baking Company roll. Soups hot. Come see us!!!

So you guys BLEW THROUGH THAT A5. Sold out and thank you so much. Good news. We will be here til 8 pm. We have more raclette and gouda croissant grilled cheese with fully loaded lobster and crab chowder. Come see us!!!

Here it is folks. True Japanese A5 WAGYU striploin. Seared hard. Sliced thin and brushed in a5 tallow. On legit local corn tortillas with guacamole paint and salsa Macha chili crisp. 2 tacos with fries and a drink. 28.95. If you know anything about a5 you'll know this is a bargain! We have croissant grilled cheese and l9bster crab soup too. Get down here!!!
