To start, we want to thank everyone who bought flowers from us! You all make what we do worth while.
Unfortunately we had a good number of bouquets that weren’t paid for, or money that was missing from our cash box. Honor system is extremely convenient, as we work other jobs, or have constant chores around the farm, so we hope to continue our honor system farm stand for as long as possible. However due to this loss we will need to add a camera to our farm stand (when it is officially out and running).
Those flowers didn’t just pop up out of the ground. We planted every one of those bulbs by hand, mulched by hand, babied them through the frosts this spring, and dug them up one by one. Everything we sell has been made with a level of care that makes it worthy of its price.
Despite this loss we are so excited to open our farm stand for the season, and offer fresh veggies from our gardens. And we WILL do flowers again next year! 💐
