📢 DISASTER RELIEF DONATIONS NEEDED 📢

We are accepting donations to fill the SBA Disaster Relief Trailer located behind the old Renys (next to the grass). The trailer will be open for donations until it’s filled and then transported to Skowhegan, where volunteers will load a larger tractor trailer headed south to the disaster relief zone.

🗓️ Calvary Baptist Church at 583 North Main St., Pittsfield, will also be sending three (possibly more) volunteer men on a separate trip down to assist in North Carolina, Georgia, or Florida. These men will be joining chainsaw teams or mud-out teams to help with the recovery efforts. They will be leaving on October 19th for a one-week mission. Donations to support their trip can be made directly to Calvary Baptist Church Disaster Relief Team.

💡 Monetary gifts are also needed for larger supplies. For example, a 12’ x 14’ Yurt Style Tent with a built-in heating structure costs approximately $2,088.

Exciting changes coming!

Hi everyone,

It has been a crazy couple of weeks/months for us as a business and as a family.

Dekk and I have had the incredible journey of growing with our business and our crew as we have seen POPonOVERs flourish in Pittsfield. We feel so privileged to be able to watch our business grow within the community we love, supported by our closest friends, family, and community.

My vision six years ago, when I started POPonOVERs, was to create a guest-first business model where we could make each customer smile. Our family has a passion for hospitality and food, and POPonOVERs allowed us an avenue to serve our community, combining these two passions.

As we've grown, we have been able to watch many of your families grow as well. From cakes to celebrate an engagement, a wedding, and the birth of a first child. We have been there for many holiday parties, weekday lunches, game-winning ice creams, afterschool cookies, and morning cups of coffee. Being a part of your family has been so rewarding, and we are so happy we have been able to be along for the journey.

As our family's journey continues, we will be closing POPonOVERs, and we are actively working with potential new owners. Dekk and I are not getting any younger, and we need to focus on our health. As many of you know, I had surgery this past week and need to take a step back from the business. This decision was incredibly difficult to make and is driven by the need to put my health, my husband's health, and my family first.

We could not be more appreciative of our staff, current and past, for making POPonOVERs truly special. This dream was only a dream until the community, supporters, and you all made it possible. We thank God every day for giving us Deana, our General Manager, who has been with us since the beginning. POPonOVERs would truly not be the same without her.

We can’t begin to express how thankful we are for our community, our friends, our staff, and our family. We absolutely loved operating in the heart of Pittsfield for the past six years, and we hope to see you soon.
