Due to today’s forecast, Movie in the Park has been rescheduled to our rain date: Saturday, July 25.

While we’re disappointed to postpone tonight’s event, we want everyone to have the best experience possible. We hope you’ll join us next Saturday for a fun evening with family, friends, and neighbors.

Today, as part of our Leadership Development Program, we had the honor of hosting Captain Mason Farnham as a guest speaker.

Captain Farnham led an interactive leadership lesson, taking the kids on an adventure around the park while demonstrating the importance of both leading and following. Through hands-on activities, he showed that great leaders know when to step forward and when to support others.

Mason and his family have been a part of the Phoenix community for many years, and both he and his children were once Bridge House Brats themselves. It was great to welcome him back to share his experience and invest in the next generation of leaders!

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸 1776 – 2026

As fireworks continue to light up the sky across the country and families, friends, and loved ones gather to celebrate the 4th of July, we’re reminded how powerful community is in bringing us together.

Right here at the Bridge House Brats, we’re celebrating this milestone by building that same sense of community through our Brat Leadership Program. We’re proud to help kids grow into confident, caring leaders while strengthening the bonds that connect us all.

Here’s to freedom, friendship, and a bright future for the next generation!

A Message from Bridge House Brats –

Thank You to Brian Borchik!

It is with a mix of gratitude and pride that we share an important update with our Bridge House Brats family.
After more than two years of dedicated service — and even more time supporting the program before that — one of our founding board members Brian Borchik has officially stepped down from his role on the board as of today.
We are deeply thankful for everything Brian has helped us accomplish. From becoming an “Honorary Brat” (bestowed by our founder Cathy Lee) to playing a key role in our transition to a nonprofit last year, his leadership and commitment have been instrumental in securing the future of the program that Cathy built over the past 32 years.

Brian shared these heartfelt words:

“This is not a decision I came to lightly. I’m so proud to have helped accomplish all we have as a group and I can only imagine what the rest of the team will accomplish over the next several years. I came on board to make sure this program continues for a long time to come. We have absolutely accomplished that goal”
“The rest of the board and all the Brats are my people, my friends and now my family. I will continue to support the program as I always have. Now I just do it as the Mayor, not the board member.”

We couldn’t agree more. The Brats and the entire board consider Brian family, and we are incredibly fortunate that he will continue championing our mission in his role as Mayor.

Please join us in thanking Brian Borchik for his vision, leadership, and unwavering support. We look forward to celebrating his continued impact on the Bridge House Brats community for many years to come.

✨ Thank You for a Wonderful Evening! ✨

On behalf of Bridge House Brats and the Village of Phoenix, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended the Volunteer Service Awards Ceremony. It was an honor to recognize the outstanding volunteers whose dedication, compassion, and commitment help make our community a better place.

We would also like to thank our guest speakers, elected officials, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who contributed their time and efforts to this special celebration. Special thanks to Jake’s Grub & Grog for providing the evening’s catering, Michael Lattimore Jr. for his generous donation of beverages, The Gingersnap Bakery for their delicious baked goods and Casey Brown for volunteering his time and talent to capture the evening through photography. Your support helped make this event a tremendous success.

Most importantly, thank you to all of the volunteers who continue to give back and make a positive impact throughout our community. Congratulations to all of our award recipients. Your service does not go unnoticed, and we are proud to celebrate your contributions.

Together, Bridge House Brats and the Village of Phoenix remain committed to building a stronger, more connected community.
