Tonight we rescued a small bird after witnessing it get hit by a car. We moved him safely off the road, and hours later came back to check on him and found him still fighting to survive.

Thankfully, because of a contact card left at El Azteca from someone offering wildlife rescue advice/help, we were able to find guidance tonight and hopefully help for tomorrow morning.
Moments like this remind us why our hearts stay connected to animal rescue — here and also for the stray animals we help in Oaxaca. Every life matters. ❤️🐦🐾

We rescued a small wild bird tonight after it was hit by a car near BOCES. One leg appears severely broken, but the bird is alive, breathing normally, and currently resting in a warm dark box. We are looking for a licensed wildlife rehabilitator or advice on what to do next.

Because of your support, compassion, and today’s Taco Tuesday sales, we are getting closer to helping real dogs in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca 🙏🌮
✨ CURRENT GOALS FOR THIS SUNDAY’S CLINIC ✨
🎗 Chemotherapy support for one rescue dog
2 remaining chemo sessions
$3,700 pesos total (about $220 USD)
🐶 10 stray dogs spay/neuter surgeries
$3,000 pesos total
❤️ Thanks to Kevin from Marshall Sterling Insurance and today’s Taco Tuesday support, we are now able to cover all 10 dogs!
