Celebration Saturday is here!!!

We are celebrating it the only way we know how!!

Millie is representing Big Mike for Halloween. I think she did a pretty good job. She matched the black jeans and apron perfectly.

The weather is perfect walk around weather today and the 6th street Promenade is perfect walk around area today.

Last farmers market of the year. Grab a brew and swing in and grab some grub! Get here early because we are closing down early today! We will be servin’ until 1600!

It is Smash Burger Friday, there is no school and that means we get the some of the best visitors!!!

It has been a CRAZY day.. The community is out and about and getting their grub on!

I want to thank everyone who has visited and plans on visiting! I appreciate everyone’s patience so far this evening!!!

I had to step out and attend to two boys who are under the weather and we had another employee call off. My crew is working their tails off, but we are a little understaffed. We will get everyone fed with the best food; it just might take a little longer than normal.

The Educator in the Arena…

The credit belongs to the Educator who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends their self in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if they fail, at least fails while daring greatly, so that their place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat…..”

Educators are important. The youth are important.

I don’t care what side of the political aisle you are on, take sometime and really dive into the One Cent Sales Tax Initiative. Mr. Whicker was at our restaurant last night and answered every single question honestly and was fully transparent on everything. He offered to have any conversation with anyone and answer any questions.

Open, honest, good intention dialogue is a must and something that gets lost on social media.

Today our Smash Burger goes out to all the Educators. With all the back and fourth, we can’t forget what is at the heart of the matter. Educators and the youth.
