Offering regular, vegan, dairy free, egg free, gluten free, nut free, and soy free options! Get Caked is a boutique bakery located in the Village Gate in downtown Rochester NY. Our mission is to provide high quality, delicious baked goods to everyone (especially those with dietary restrictions) at a reasonable price. We love being a part of your day, no matter how special! We specialize in delicious cupcakes, cookies, macarons, basic cakes and extravagant personalized cakes! From birthdays to showers to weddings and more, if you imagine it we can make it! We also cater to the Vegan and Gluten-Free communities, and offer other allergen free options including dairy free, egg free, nut free, and soy free (soy free by custom request). We have catered over 1,000 weddings since opening in 2013, and have received multiple awards for our products and customer service! We also work with local companies and organizations (including hospitals) to provide their desserts for large events. Our beloved youngest team member has been given an opportunity she can't turn down and will be leaving us after Thanksgiving! We are all happy, excited, and sad at the same time.

That being said, we are looking for someone to join our team! Details below:

Are you a friendly, motivated person with food service experience looking for a fun, fast paced environment to work in? Check out some more information below!

40 hours per week
Pay rate minimum is $18 or more per hour plus tips (averaging $2.50+ per hour), more based on experience and performance

Must be able and available to work until 6-6:30pm during the week, 3:30pm weekends.

Schedule:
Tuesday - Friday 9:00-6:15, Saturdays 9:00-3:30
Off every Sunday and Monday.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist customers with walk-in purchases
- Answer phone calls and accept/take custom orders
- Execute daily task checklist
- Participating in dishwashing daily and as necessary
- Participating in daily cleaning of all areas
- Refuse and recycling removal
- Packaging and box making
- Following recipes and procedures for basic production items
- Working under our head chef and with other team members
- Keeping track of inventory
- Restocking ingredients and other tools/boards/etc
- Maintaining and cleaning kitchen equipment and environment
- Maintaining coffee and beverage stations, gift areas, and add on items

Qualifications:
- Fast paced work ethic
- Ability to communicate and engage quickly and efficiently with customers
- Ability to communicate efficiently and make good working relationships
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to special or unexpected circumstances
- Ability to learn new skills from experienced staff
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Strive to advance skills and knowledge
- Previous experience in similar position OR higher level of related schooling/training is preferred but not necessary
- Basic knowledge of food health and safety standards
- Ability to lift and move 50lbs

✨️THANKSGIVING 2026✨️🥧🧁

Our menu has just gone live on the website! You can now order your Thanksgiving goodies for pick up 11/24 - 11/28!

✨️Things are a LITTLE bit different this year✨️

1) We will only be making a maximum of 50 pies 🥧
We just can't fit any more than that with the existing orders and items already scheduled to take up space. We suggest you get your orders in quickly before we have to cut it off!

2) We are no longer making dinner rolls or breads. We literally only sold one pack of rolls last year, so it's just not worth it - sorry!

3) We have added pumpkin swiss rolls 🎃 and are focusing on increasing quantities of butter and almond paste cookies, as well as sugar cookies 🍪

4) We will be increasing the quantity of dessert cakes available in the case since we were wiped out TWICE last year! 🎂

We are looking forward to another crazy busy Thanksgiving Week 🥧
