Local Purveyor Spotlight - Brodis Blueberries! 🫐

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Brodis Blueberries in Hope, Maine—a family-owned business that’s been selling wild Maine blueberries off the land for over 150 years!

We proudly use Brodis blueberries year-round (yes—they freeze their berries at peak freshness, so they’re just as delicious in the middle of winter). Their incredible wild Maine blueberries find their way into so many of our favorites, including our fluffy blueberry pancakes, and all kinds of treats at Home Kitchen Bakery —pies, muffins, bars, scones, and more.

Supporting local farmers and producers isn’t just something we say—it’s something we’re proud to do every day. Thank you, Brodis Blueberries, for helping us bring the best of Maine to our tables! 💙

We have another graduate to celebrate! 🎓

Congratulations to our fantastic team member, Mickey, on graduating from the Maine School of Science and Mathematics!

During high school, Mickey served in Student Senate, led the Admissions Ambassadors’ Social Media Committee, was president of the Baking Club (we especially love that one! 😉), and managed both the soccer and volleyball teams.

This fall, she’ll be heading to American University as part of the Global Scholars Program.

Mickey, we’re so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see all that you’ll achieve next. Congratulations, and thank you for being part of the Home Kitchen Cafe family! 💛
