‼️RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULED FOR OCT 21, 2026‼️

Turns out location is everything and the biggest hurdle with getting a skatepark built in Rutland has been finding the right spot. But finally….we’ve got one we think will work!

It’s 62 Pierpoint Ave and it offers 13,000 square feet of potential build space. It’s located near a public school and can connect to the Creek Bike path, providing ample grant opportunities. The best part, it is already owned by Rutland City!

But before we get too excited, we must get formal approval from the city to move forward with site testing, planning, park design and the like. We aim to do just that on Wednesday, October 21st, 2026.

We will be presenting to The Recreation Committee of the Rutland Board of Alderman as well as members of the Department of Public Works at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

All are encouraged to come out and support this mission to create a free public skatepark for all in the fair metropolis of RutVegas! Hope to see you there ❤️

And then there were 3! For the next few weeks, you may not see Shi and Chris around the shop as we’ve welcomed our baby boy! Mom and him are doing amazing, and we are so thankful 🙏🏻
