Lately, I have been thinking about legacy. I've thought about my father who was a fine jeweler and who made all of his kids work in his jewelry store every summer to teach us a work ethic and to keep us occupied. I think about those lessons learned and how they have been instrumental in helping me build this business that I love so much. I think about how I grew up wanting to own a family business that would be handed down and continue long after I was not around and what a joy it has been to see my daughter, Alena, and my grandchildren participate in this venture.
Amadeus turned 28 years old this month, a long time for a restaurant, and while we strive to exceed expectation, and provide good and consistent service and food, we only survive because you, Salem, have supported us. You have come through our doors through recessions, pandemics and in good times as well. You have chosen to spend your hard earned money at Amadeus and we feel honored that you have chosen us. We would not last long without this community and in thinking about all this, I want to take this moment to say thank you for helping to make my dream of a successful restaurant come true. Thank you does not seem adequate for everything you as a community have given me, but it is what I've got. So, Thank you Salem. You are my community and I love you.
