We’re proud to have opened the Bay Area’s first dedicated matcha shop and to have watched the love for matcha grow over the years. 💚⁠

We’re so grateful to have been part of the Matcha Cafe Maiko family, and our final day under the Maiko name will be Saturday, November 7 before we transition all of our stores to Matcha Toko.⁠

“Toko” means “place,” reflecting our vision of creating an approachable, welcoming place where there’s matcha for everyone.⁠
⁠
While our name is changing, you’ll still find many of the flavors and favorites you know and love (now made with ceremonial grade matcha!) with even more of the Matcha Toko experience to take shape in the months ahead.⁠
