This is the official page for Rowley Farmhouse Ales. We are an independently-owned farmhouse-style brewery with a focus on mixed culture fermentation. All our fermentations will take place in oak vessels, and in most cases with our house mixed culture that our brewmaster has been developing for quite some time. Spontaneous fermentation is likely to occur as conditions allow. Our inspirati

on comes from American and European wild and mixed culture fermented ales. By brewing in this old world way, we pay homage to the wonderful beers from visionary breweries like Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen, Hill Farmstead, Jester King, Russian River, Allagash, Casey Brewing and Blending, Ale Apothecary, Side Project, De Garde and Sante Adarius Rustic Ales. My apologies to those I left out but whose beers I respect and look up to. We have a long way to go to brew up to the level of our forefathers, but we aim to give it a go and do the best we can do, with these motivational beers of the world in mind.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the strong and amazing women out there. Without y’all, we’d all live in caves and probably wouldn’t have made our beds. Cheers!

Chef’s latest creation hits the spot on a warm day like today. Chilled gazpacho with a cucumber and avocado base, a hint of jalapeño, Thai basil and fresh lime juice. It’s light, refreshing, and Vietnamese influenced. Come get a taste!

We are updating our guest bottle list today with three new stellar offerings. Parabola ‘26 is a near perfect example of a barrel-aged imperial stout, and was aged in 9-year Elijah Craig and 10-year Henry McKenna bourbon barrels. Shugga revisits the OG recipe from back in the day and delivers all the caramel you could ever wish for. Lastly, we’ve got Bout Nine Montmorency vs Balaton from the lovely folks at , and this beer doesn’t disappoint if you are into the cherry and funk, which y’all know is speaking our language here at RFA. Cheers, Santa Fe!

Today, we are supporting the upcoming Beer Prom collabfest by brewing a fun beer with our besties . The beer is a gose-style wheated sour that we will add butterfly pea flower and lavender to for color and herbal flavors, along with bourbon barrel smoked salt for salinity, as is appropriate for a gose-style beer. Thanks for having us! Look for information on the beer prom fest soon!
