The menu features mouthwatering brisket, burgers, and a famous Firebird Sandwich. You will also find a fresh salad bar and fresh breads and desserts.

Redline will be open June 8! Please understand we will all still be learning and working through kinks. But the building is beautiful and we hope to serve you some amazing food! Plus we will have fresh dairy and beef! I’ll post more pictures tomorrow. Hours will be 6:30am-8pm M-Th and 6:30am-9pm Friday and Saturday.

We have a blodgett oven we are not going to use in the cafe. If you know anyone looking to purchase a used oven have them contact me. It is a commercial gas oven, has 4 racks, double door. I will be happy to send pictures. Knew they sell between $12-14,000. Must pickup and Venmo or pay cash. No holds! Asking $800.

They sent the BIG truck today! We had most of our staff training today. I have to say I love these people already. The feel in the place was one of family and comradery not 25 people who have never met. I’m amazed at the teens. Approximately 9 young women who are both intelligent and eager to work. I just want to hug them and thank them for being there. Then there are those of us who have been around a while. Not one without a positive attitude and a desire to help. God has been so good to bring us an exceptional staff! I can’t wait to work with these amazing people!

I had no luck with wooden spools. So let’s try round dining tables. Yes, Evan go on Facebook marketplace and find a bunch within 89 miles. But I am seriously trying to reduce time traveling while we get this place ready.
If you have a round dining table you want to sell or give away please let me know! We need two!

We are patiently waiting for Atmos gas to turn on the gas to the building. As soon as they do that we can start training our new staff. We’ve come a long way in two weeks. The market is being stocked with basic necessities (groceries), and some pretty stuff too. We need to mop and clean and get a food truck in. If all that happens we will open sometime between June 5-8. Be watching for an open sign to be bright in the window.
Hours will be 6:30am-8pm Monday-Thursday and 6:30am-9pm Friday and Saturday. Come in and dine and shop!

I’ll post pictures tomorrow and the menu on Thursday. Follow Redline for all the updates!

We had some amazing food in Florida. The crabs at The Crab Trap in Destin made Leroy and Josh so happy. But beside the seafood we had brunch at our granddaughter’s house yesterday. He other grandmother made what she called “fruit queso”. We fell in love! Can’t wait to make our own version to share with you!
