Spending a quiet Halloween in (this was not a favorite holiday for Justin & I) I decided to try a new recipe. Thank you Kayla Burton | easy dessert recipes this cookie is perfection. So simple and delicious. Raspberry Crumble Cookie is on my holiday baking list.

This was a long week. I needed Friday and a comfort food dinner. A quick mix of marinated artichokes, sundried tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, crushed red pepper, little tomato paste, chicken stock and Parmesan cheese. The star for me is the bionaturae pasta. Truly one of my favorites. I highly suggest trying it. Happy Friday.

So~ did you ever try a new recipe and they look delicious but they aren't? Tonight is one of those nights. Does anyone have a delicious apple muffin recipe they want to share? 🍎🍏🤔🤦🏼‍♀️

Cooking for one is a challenge. Justin Oscar Cary & I loved preparing and eating together. Table set. Candles. Details. Delicious food. All of it. I am still trying to honor all of that. Tonight I enjoyed angus meatballs from Trader Joe's plus their high end tomato basil sauce & mini baguettes. A quick simple and easy dish for a chilly evening. ❤️

Tonight was a no cook night for me. I grabbed some slices Broad Street Bagel Company and saw a beautiful display that consisted of my favorite cookies. It's been a long week & I needed a treat. 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐏𝐋𝐔𝐒 𝐁𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐘 nails this cookie. I am excited to indulge in more varieties in the future. I am also a fan of grab & go selections. Nicely done Broad Street Bagel Company 🩵

I love puff pastry~ Trader Joe's has one of my favorites. I lightly buttered a sheet and sprinkled cinnamon sugar~ spread out diced apples (skin on) then more cinnamon sugar. Rolled it, sliced it and placed on a parchment lined sheet pan~ topped with melted butter and baked at 400 degrees for 15-17 minutes. I topped with Stewart's Shops whipped cream. This is just a fun and easy treat. ❤️🍎🍏

Fall was fully here today and after traveling this past week I planned a low key Saturday. This also felt like the perfect day to make beef stew. Justin was the soup & stew maker and how I loved that. I went with Easy Dinner Recipes • Holly SpendWithPennies beef stew recipe and omitted the peas. I know Justin would be proud of this! It's delicious and just what I needed today. What's your favorite comfort food?

Tonight I was surrounded by those Justin Oscar Cary loved and bonded with while he lived over twenty years in Nashville. I heard beautiful stories about his talent, loyalty, kindness & friendship. To say my heart is full is an understatement. I am so proud to be married to this amazing man. Thank you Sixpence None The Richer & Matt Slocum for putting on this tribute. I am forever grateful. Jon Radford you spinning records epic. Sean Kelly & Mark Nash your help behind the scenes brought it together. How lucky I am to know all of you. 🩵

I am in Nashville for Justin's celebration of life this week. This was a bakery we went to here. Sixpence None The Richer and I enjoying some sweetness and sharing Justin Oscar Cary stories. 🩵🩵🩵

Justin loved a charcuterie board for dinner~ I decided tonight that is what I would enjoy. What are your favorite items on your board? 🩵
