BREAK THE BOTTLE 6/1 SUYO ANDEAN BRANDY. Popping something very limited and unique with our friend from this Monday! Made from 100% Quebranta grapes grown at the base of the Andes, this limited 2023 Andean Brandy was aged for one year in heavily charred French oak barrels. Non chill filtered and bottled at 43.1% ABV, only 280 bottles were produced. Full bodied taste with distinct notes of spices and ripe fruit. Subtle notes of vanilla and black pepper. $5.15/oz until it’s gone!

MONDAY 5/25 Our next break the bottle is one of our favorite single malts, Clynelish 14 year! One of the “four pillars” of Johnnie Walker 95% of this distillery’s output goes towards those iconic blends with very little bottled as stand alone single malt.

A compelling combination of northern highland style and overt sea influence the 14-year is sweetly floral, with beeswax, smoke and sea air aromatics. On the palate a constellation of baked pastry, fruit, both sweet and savory spices, umami, a touch of peat, and a dry ,waxy, orchard fruit driven finish. Bottled at 46% if you are a whisk(e)y fan you know this one is not to be missed! Only $5.15/oz!

MONDAY 5/18 OUR NEXT BREAK THE BOTTLE: 2016 Evan William Single Barrel! Cracking into another long time favorite of ours. Always a bit of a sleeper but a great value, it actually went off the market and was only available in Kentucky for a few years.
Fortunately our long national nightmare is over and we can once again bask in the unfussy deliciousness of this single barrel bourbon. Aged for 8 years and bottled at 86.6 proof this single barrel is loaded with notes of baking spice, vanilla and caramelized sugar. It really checks all of the boxes a good bourbon should and is still one of the best values in american whiskey. Only $5.15/oz!

JOIN US MONDAY 5/11 FOR OUR NEXT BREAK THE BOTTLE: This week we are pouring one of favorites, the Clement XO. Tropically aged for 6 years at Habitation Clement in ex-bourbon barrels. This rhum presents a really dynamic contrast between concentrated, sweet fruity and baking spice driven aromatics while being very dry in the palate. Only $5.15 and oz!

JOIN US MONDAY 5/4 FOR OUR NEXT BREAK THE BOTTLE! The El Dorado High Ester Blend – LBI/DHE offers a much higher level of esters than a traditional Demerara rum. This never-before-released High Ester Rum is a blend of two rums one made with DDL’s John Dore Double Retort Copper Pot Still and the second, the La Bonne Intention (LBI) marque, on their French Savalle Still. This incredibly complex, layered rum is bottled at 114 proof after 12 years of aging in ex Bourbon Cask.

MONDAY 4/20 OUR NEXT BREAK THE BOTTLE: PALENQUEROS VALENTI GARCIA MADRECUISHE Palenqueros Madrecuishe was produced in the village of Santa Maria La Pila at 1552 meters above sea level by fourth generation producer Don Valente Garcìa, alongside his grandson Semei, from cultivated Madrecuishe. Cooked in an oven pit and hand crushed with a wooden mallet, the agave is fermented in cypress and pine wood vats using the ambient yeast of the distillery before it is distilled on a 350 liter copper pot still powered by direct fire. Bottled at still strength of 48.9% with no additives. Only 933 bottles of this Madrecuishe were shipped to the US.

This limited-edition series showcases the rich heritage of Oaxacan distillates through the expertise of six artisanal palenqueros.
