Happy November from Sidney Street Café!

The holiday season is officially on our minds, and with it comes one of our favorite things about this time of year: bringing people together around the table.

Whether you’re planning an intimate dinner with family, gathering friends you haven’t seen in far too long, or organizing a holiday celebration for your colleagues, we’d love to be part of it.

Our private dining room offers a wonderful setting for your holiday gatherings, while our offsite catering brings the Sidney Street experience to your own home, office, or event venue.

And sometimes, the best holiday plans are simply making a reservation, letting someone else do the cooking, and spending an evening with the people who matter most.

November calendars fill quickly, and December isn’t far behind. We’d love to help you plan something special.

Here’s to a season of good food, familiar faces, and many reasons to gather.

For private dining and catering inquiries, please contact us directly. Dinner reservations are available through OpenTable.

Happy Halloween from Sidney Street Café!

Before the costumes, candy, and neighborhood festivities take over the evening, we have a few ideas for how to spend your Saturday.

A proper dinner in our historic Benton Park dining room, a table filled with thoughtfully prepared dishes, cocktails, and the people you love spending time with. There’s a reason Sidney Street has been a St. Louis dining destination for so many years. The food brings people in, but the experience keeps them coming back.

Our bar opens at 4:30 PM with the full dinner menu available and no reservations needed for bar seating.

Come celebrate Halloween with us. No costume required.

There’s something about walking into Sidney Street Café before the evening begins. The tables are set, the glasses are waiting, and the afternoon light finds its way across the old brick walls.

We’ve always believed the setting should be as memorable as what’s on the plate. Whether it’s a dinner for two, a table full of friends, or an evening celebrating something special, Sidney Street has a way of making an ordinary night feel like an occasion.

Come hungry. Bring your favorite people. We’ll take care of the rest.

Reservations available through OpenTable.

The mood in the Sidney Street kitchen.

Fresh pasta rolled into delicate sheets, fillings prepared by hand, and ravioli taking shape one piece at a time.

There’s a certain rhythm to making pasta from scratch. The repetition, the precision, the patience. It’s the kind of work that requires both skill and a genuine love for cooking.

A little behind-the-scenes look at the hands and hours that go into dinner at Sidney Street.

And yes, we think you should order the pasta.

The mood for Tuesday at Sidney Street.

A seat at the bar, your favorite cocktail, and nowhere else you need to be for a while. Spencer behind the bar, glasses waiting to be filled, and the evening just getting started.

Come in for a drink, stay for dinner, and make a Tuesday feel a little more like Saturday.

Our bar opens at 4:30, with our full dinner menu available and no reservation needed.

Chicken & Waffles. For dessert. Yes, you read that correctly. 🍗 🧇

Our pastry chef Amelia has been dreaming up this one for quite some time, and it’s finally making its debut on Sidney Street Café’s fall/winter menu.

Meet the Chicken & Waffles Cannoli.

A waffle cone cannoli shell filled with maple butterscotch, sweet potato donut holes tossed in maple sugar, sweet potato pie filling, hot honey ice cream, and fried chicken skin crumble.

Sweet, savory, crispy, creamy, and completely unexpected. Every component has a purpose, and together they turn a familiar Southern favorite into something entirely different.

We love giving Amelia the freedom to experiment, and this is exactly why. She took an idea she’d been thinking about for ages and turned it into a dessert we’re incredibly excited to share.

Save room for dessert. Trust us on this one.

Try it soon! Will hit the menu tomorrow on Wednesday October 21st!
