🍦🌳 Classic Cones is at Besich Park! 🌳🍦

If you're looking for a great way to cool off this evening, we'll be parked at Besich Park until about 9:00 PM tonight.

The temperature is already starting to drop, and there's just enough breeze to make it a beautiful evening to be outside. Bring the kids to burn off some energy on the playground, relax under the shade, and treat yourself to some Blue Bell ice cream, a refreshing sorbet, or one of our other frozen favorites.

As always, we appreciate everyone who has been stopping by and supporting our little family business. We love seeing friends, neighbors, and families enjoying time together in the park.

We'll be here until around 9 PM — come say hello!

🍦 Classic Cones Tonight! 🍦

We'll be rolling out around 4:00 PM this afternoon, but we're making a small change to our route.

Instead of trying to cover every street in town, we're going to spend more time focusing on some of our elderly neighbors and residents who may not be able to get out as easily. Those visits and conversations have become one of the most rewarding parts of what we do, and we want to make sure everyone has a chance to enjoy a sweet treat.

We also made a trip to the valley this morning to stock up on a good variety of paletas, too!

As always, we'll have our Google Maps location turned on, so if you're looking for us, you'll be able to see exactly where we are in real time.

Then, around 6:00 PM, we'll head over to Besich Park and plan to stay until about 9:00 PM.

We had such a great time there last night. The cooler evening temperatures made it comfortable for everyone, the kids were having a blast running around and burning off some energy, and parents had plenty of places to sit back, relax, and enjoy an ice cream while visiting with friends and neighbors.

We hope you'll come out and spend part of your evening with us. Whether you're chasing the truck around town or meeting us at the park, we look forward to seeing everyone this evening!

Tonight we tried something a little different and took the Classic Cones truck over to Besich Park for a couple of hours after several people suggested it. It took a little while to get rolling, but before long it was great seeing so many families out enjoying the park, visiting with friends, and stopping by for a treat.

One of the highlights of the evening was seeing Mr. Jason load up the grandkids and bring them over to redeem the gift certificates from the Pozole Cook-Off that we were proud to help sponsor this past weekend. Moments like that remind us why we love being part of this community.

And best of all, we didn't have to worry about kids darting out from dark streets that are hard to see after sunset!

So here's what we're thinking moving forward. We'll continue making our rounds through town in the late afternoon to take care of some of our customers who don't get around quite as easily. We always enjoy seeing the smiles from folks like Mrs. Pat, Mr. Sanchez, our friend Bob, and so many others.

Then we'll take a short dinner break and head over to Besich Park for the evening. The weather is cooler, the park is beautiful after dark, and it gives families a safe, easy place to find us. We've again got to restock our Blue Bell Ice Cream supplies in the morning, too!

🍦🚚 Classic Cones is hitting the streets of Superior this afternoon! 🚚🍦

We'll be starting in the neighborhoods behind Eduardo's and working our way out from there, bringing plenty of Blue Bell Ice Cream, dairy-free sorbet, paletas, and all your favorite frozen treats along the way.

As many of you know, we try not to be driving around after dark. The last thing we would ever want is for a child to run toward the truck in low light and get hurt. Keeping everyone safe is more important than squeezing in a few extra sales.

That got us thinking...

Would you like to see Classic Cones post up at a single location until 8:00 or 9:00 PM in the evenings? 🤔

If so, where would be the best spot? 📍 Save Money Market? 📍 The park? 📍 Downtown? 📍 Somewhere else?

Let us know in the comments. We're always looking for ways to make it easier for everyone to get their ice cream while keeping things safe for the kids.

This has become a huge (and expensive) problem for us, since the company changed packaging, most of our waffle cones look like this.
To fix the problem we'll be switching to waffle cones directly from Blue Bell Ice Cream and will have them in stock on Friday!
