This Independence Day, the skies above West Grand Traverse Bay will come alive with the Centennial Night Extravaganza, a one-of-a-kind celebration honoring America’s 250th birthday and the National Cherry Festival’s 100th year.

Here's what to expect:

✨ A custom drone show by Great Lakes Drone Company LLC
✈️ A jaw-dropping Night Air Show featuring aerial pyrotechnics

It's happening!!🍒 The cherry trees are putting on a show, and we are HERE for it!

Some trees are already opening (5/8/26), and with warmer weather on the way, the full show is just around the corner. Plenty of time to plan your visit and catch the blossoms in all their glory across the region!
