Addressing reviews is not something we have ever done before. With the Busiest month of the year approaching we would like to make a public plea to the community… we and many other of the small businesses in the community heavily rely on December to get us through the winter months. A one star review on Google heavily impacts the public’s view of a business. If we make a mistake and don’t try to fix it or offer compensation than I understand taking to Google. But a subjective opinion of “Worst bakery ever” & “cheap gross icing taste” is just plain damaging (I wish the icing was cheap to make $$$)! It’s not constructive criticism that we can address and try to make better. No mention of what was even purchased. The reviewer even says nothing negative happened.
So what I’m asking is to maybe, think twice before reviewing a local business harshly just because you didn’t enjoy their food. Just move on and don’t damage a businesses reputation because it wasn’t your cup of tea.
