Stepping away from Calidad Coffee is not easy, but this was never just about me.

I did this for my family. For Tracie and Luis.

For 40 years, coffee has been part of our story. I grew up watching it, learning it, believing one day we would build something of our own. And we did.

I’m grateful to every single person who took a chance on me and gave us the opportunity to turn that dream into reality. You helped create something bigger than just a business. You helped build something that will continue for my family.

My parents(Michelle & Manuel) always told me one thing growing up. All you truly have in this life is your brother and your sister. People will come and go, but they are your true North.

That has never left me.

I’m so proud of you both. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without your love and support through everything.

Things change. People change. Tracie and Luis never have!

Y’all are the real ones.

I love you all so much. Thank you for the opportunity, the memories, and the journey.

Best coffee bar setup in all of Tyler! Highly recommend for any event needing coffee!

Good morning, Gathering Cup family!

Last Wednesday, Amanda had a blast catering a pop-up at a local car dealership, serving coffee to over 50 people! It was such a fun event — and we’d love love love to bring that energy to more places.
If you or someone you know is interested in having our coffee cart at your next event — whether it’s a business function, family gathering, school event, PTA meeting, or anything in between — we’ve got you covered!
☕️ We offer a variety of setup options:
Drip coffee bar for a classic brew experience
Cold brew station for a refreshing pick-me-up

We’ve known Marsha since we were babies. My siblings and I terrorized her & our parents by running around Country Coffee sneaking chocolate covered coffee beans from the freezer.

She’s very special to our family

So very proud of my dad & family

Our dad started out working at Tyler’s very first coffee roaster- Country Coffee.

He was their first full time employee in 1985 and made $3.25 an hour. He’s gone on to help build one of the largest coffee roasters in the country to now owning his own and passing down a legacy!

There’s other coffee roasters in town but this isn’t a hobby for us- it’s a passion & a family tradition!

I counted 16 cars in the parking lot this morning!

My sister is a little annoyed everyone thinks she works for me lol 😂 ☕️

Some of my favorite memories are from when we were little just 3 or 4 years old, running around the coffee plant, sneaking chocolate-covered coffee beans, and visiting Granny next door. We grew up surrounded by the smell of fresh roasts and the sounds of our parents, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends building something special together.

Coffee has always been part of our life. It’s not just a business, it’s our family’s story.

Now, all these years later, I get to watch my sister Tracie carry that legacy as our Roast Master. She puts so much heart into what she does. Carefully crafting each roast, paying attention to every detail, and making sure every batch reflects the love and care we were raised with.

What makes it even more special is seeing her two little girls grow up in the same world we did,
watching their mom work, playing among the sacks of beans, and soaking up the same kind of memories we were lucky enough to have.

Tracie, I’m so proud of you. You’ve taken everything we were given and made it even better. Thank you for keeping this dream alive and for being the heart of what we do. ❤️

One thing about me, as a stay at home mom & solo business owner, I do not play about my coffee! I neeeed it!

I’m very picky. I rarely get coffee “out” because I rarely get a cup that I’m truly satisfied with. It has to not only TASTE good, but I have to FEEL good about what goes into my body.

- Spork In The Hive I’m never without this honey, for a variety of reasons. It’s a staple!
- 459H Farm vanilla sugar (first time trying it & did NOT disappoint!)
- Milkmaid Farms cream because my whole family is addicted to the dairy from this farm, so much so that our tummies get upset when we consume any other dairy 😂

Not only is my coffee amazing, but I have personally met each of the producers/farmers who contributed to it! You can’t beat that!
