Ciao, W**e Lovers!

What better way to begin the festive holiday season than with an extraordinary evening of Italian w**e, inspired cuisine and wonderful company?

Join James Beard Award-Winning Chef Roberto Donna and Maurizio Farro of Cantiniere Imports for a celebration of three legendary Italian reds: Brunello, Barolo and Amarone.

Our journey begins with two exceptional Brunellos, Mastrojanni and Castello Romitorio, paired with potato, sausage and pancetta-filled tortelli in a rich wild boar ragù. We then turn to the elegance of Schiavenza Barolo Serralunga d’Alba and Prapò, accompanying Chef Roberto’s white truffle risotto with stuffed quail and its delicate jus. Two distinguished Amarones, Musella and Zýmē, follow alongside roasted rack of lamb with coffee-spiced sauce, braised potato, speck and rosemary. To conclude, we’ll savor a Tuscan-inspired vanilla panna cotta with marinated cherries, biscotti and cantucci, complemented by 2019 Vin Santo from Fattoria Poggio Alloro.

Three Kings, thoughtfully paired courses and the warmth of Italian hospitality make this a wonderful occasion to gather with friends and celebrate the season at Roberto’s Ristorante Italiano!
