Johnny's in Wilmerding was established in 1993 by John and Harriet Fusilli, but the history of Johnny's dates back to the 1960's when John was parking cars at the Pheonix Motel iin Monroville. His career took a turn one day when one of the chefs didn't show up.. John stepped in and soon developed a loyal following...
In 1977 they followed John to the Wooden Nickel in Monroville, and in 1980 to J

ohnny's in the Parkvale Building. It is there that John met current owner, Ron Zummo. Ron was working at Monzo's Howard Johnson's and when John needed time off, Ron would head across the parking lot to help out. Ron continued to help out over the years in Wilmeridng on a few occasions until he returned to an earlier job as Head Chef at Willowbrook Country Club.. After eight years there, Ron and Kim Zummo purchased Johnny's and have continured the tradition of great food, friendly service and warm casual atmosphere that made Johnny's famous!!
