I had the first dinner Michaelangelo made tonight, coq au vin, at Velvet. Divine. I brought it home to share with my husband as it is our 32nd anniversary. I left a strawberry rhubarb pie in the oven for Michaelangelo to serve.

I am excited for the collaboration. I have been a fan for years, and was especially happy to have had dinner every Friday night we could at the clubhouse when he was chef.

Tomorrow is Carla Cooke. This may be the last season to watch a concert before a solar panel is raised across the street. We are fundraising at this concert to protect our highland. Change gonna come.

I didn't know Jennifer Hudson covered this song, but I highly recomend you hear this in person, at the top of the ridge, under a full moon.

We need to join together. ♥️

Such an amazing place to spend a Summer Sunday afternoon. ♥️

On this Memorial Day weekend, we are so grateful for another year of Sevenars, grateful for a chance to honor the 250th anniversary of the USA and all who made that possible (with three programs being all American composers) - and grateful to the most wonderful, inspiring audiences! The summer concert series at the Worthington Country Club opens with a performance by Carla Cooke, daughter of legendary singer-songwriter Sam Cooke, on Saturday, May 30.

They're back.

Who?

Well first off, Michaelangelo Wescott, who made Gypsy Apple one of the best restaurants in Massachusetts, is going to join us as chef. Divine news. His debut will be making a barbecue picnic for the Carla Cooke concert on Saturday May 30th.

And then the legend herself, Carla Cooke will play at the club opening our fourth season of concerts. Not to be missed.
