COMO The Treasury is a 48-room luxury contemporary hotel in Perth’s newly revitalised historic heart.

All visitors must provide proof of vaccination to use our facilities. COMO The Treasury is housed in Perth’s 140-year-old State Buildings, which form part of the Cathedral Square development located on the corner of St Georges Terrace and Barrack Street. This is one of the most significant heritage precincts in Western Australia, recently revitalised by leading architect, Kerry Hill. There are 48

elegant guest rooms and suites featuring original high ceilings, cornicing, balconies and cupolas. Facilities open to Perth residents include two restaurants, a bar, lounge and library, which together provide a social hub for the city. Holistic therapies are available at COMO Shambhala Urban Escape, as well as a gym and 20m indoor pool.

This June, Cape Arid Rooms welcomes Simon Johnson and Calendar Cheese Co for an exclusive evening devoted to exceptional cheese, conversation and flavour.

With more than twenty cheeses available on the night, guests are invited to move through a generous selection of celebrated styles, from rich triple creams to aged, alpine and blue expressions, with Kellie from Simon Johnson on hand to guide each tasting.

Cathedral Square State Funeral | Tuesday, June 02 2026

A State Funeral for the Honourable Bill Grayden AM will be held at St George’s Cathedral on Tuesday, June 02. To support the formal proceedings, access throughout Cathedral Square will be restricted and valet parking will be unavailable during this time.

Access Restrictions:
- Cathedral Square will be closed to the public from 6am – 1pm, with no access for vehicles or pedestrians.
- Valet parking and vehicle drop-offs will be unavailable during this time.
- In-house guests with vehicles will be required to exit via Pier Street.

Guests with hotel stays, dining reservations or event bookings are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional time for arrival.

The third iteration of the International Pinot Noir Tasting invites its guests on an immersive journey through 18 wines from across the globe in a blind tasting led by a powerhouse panel of industry professionals.

Leading the panel, Phillip Rich (Halliday Tasting Team Member and Chair of the Australian Pinot Noir Challenge), accompanied by Erin Larkin (Robert Parker Wine Advocate) and Julian Grounds (Director of Viticulture – Stonier Vineyard), guide the tasting alongside guests.
