Good morning everyone.
Important content to read below 👇🏽
We are sharing this to let as many people know what unfortunately happened to Daniel Pietsch, one of the lovely people who work in concierge services at Como The Treasury, where we call home.
Dan was seriously assaulted on his way to work three weeks ago. On Friday the 8th of May.
Daniel has worked at Como the Treasury for more than seven years now. It’s so sad and surreal to not see him working in the evenings when we pop back in to get things done for work
Dan is currently in hospital recovering and faces a long journey of treatment and rehabilitation to regain full mobility and independence again.
To say that Dan is such a lovely and kind man would not be enough to describe how caring and wonderful he is. Here are some words from Mathilde Gouhier, who works with Dan at Como The Treasury.
‘There is one thing everyone in the State Buildings can agree on: Dan is one of the most caring, kind-hearted, and dedicated people we know. He is deeply committed to his work, his colleagues, and most of all, to every guest he meets. His warmth, generosity, and genuine care for others have touched so many lives.
We are all devastated not to have him with us at the moment, and we are looking forward to the day he can return to doing what he loves most.’
These are beautiful and thoughtful words and describe Dan much better than I can.
We are posting this for multiple reasons.
If you were wondering where Dan was, as you may not have seen him for a while, unfortunately this is what has happened.
If you have had a kind experience with Dan and wanted to help or assist in his recovery. A gofund me page has been established to help Dan in his rehabilitation.
Every little bit helps and would be greatly appreciated and mean so much to Dan while he is physically incapacitated and recovering from serious injuries sustained from a one punch attack while he was walking to work. Dan is still recovering in hospital and will need to enter a rehabilitation phase when he is able to.
I hope he can come back to work soon, we miss him.
A link to a gofundme page which is collecting donations for Dan will be posted in the comments section.
Take care and have a good weekend, and stay safe ❤️
