We can't believe it's already that time of year!

Applications are now open for the 2026 Opinicon Winter Market, taking place November 28 & 29, and we can't wait to see what our talented vendors have in store this year.

A few important things to know:

1. Application Deadline:
Applications must be submitted by August 14, 2026.

2. Vendor Selection:
Due to the high volume of applications we receive each year, only vendors who have been selected will be contacted, with notifications being sent via email by August 28, 2026.

3. Indoor Event:
Our Winter Market is held entirely indoors, so the event goes ahead rain, snow, or shine! As an indoor market, however, space is limited.

4. Vendor Locations:
Vendor spaces are located on both the main floor and upstairs. While we do our best to accommodate individual requests, placement is based on availability and we cannot guarantee specific locations.

*** Guest Update : Friday, July 17, 2026****

We are pleased to let everyone know that all debit and credit payment systems are now fully operational. Guests can once again pay using all major debit and credit cards. This evenings live music in the pub will continue as scheduled.

At this time, however, our telephone lines remain out of service due to the ongoing Bell outage. We are still unable to make or receive phone calls or retrieve voicemail messages.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate these service interruptions. Our team remains committed to providing the best possible experience, and we look forward to welcoming you.

Thursday, July 16, 2026:

Dear Guests,

We would like to inform you that our area is currently experiencing a widespread Bell internet outage. Unfortunately, this disruption has directly affected several of our operations here at The Opinicon.

At this time, Bell has advised that service is expected to be restored later this afternoon. Until then, the outage is impacting:

Our telephone service
Our reservation system
Our restaurant point-of-sale system for placing orders
Debit and credit card processing

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this temporary interruption may cause. However, we are still opening with regular hours, with some alternative options, mainly, we will only be able to accept cash payments until the Internet is restored.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team works to serve you with the available resources.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to returning to normal operations as soon as internet service is restored.

Amanda Keeley will be playing live in the pub from 7pm - 10pm this Friday, July 17.

Keep in mind that space is limited, so book your tables quickly! We only have a few spots left. We look forward to having you join us to kick off the weekend!

Pat Johnson will be playing on the patio (weather permitting, otherwise inside in the pub) from 1pm-4pm, and we want you there!

This Friday night in the pub brings back someone quite familiar with The Opinicon. Gerald McGrath will be providing our live music from 7pm-10pm!

Book your tables in advance as space is limited, tell us in your reservation that you're hoping to come for the live music and we'll do our best to honor that until the pub is full.

Let the good times keep on rolling, with our July Live Music Lineup!

Mark your calendars: Every Friday evening from 7pm - 10pm in the pub and every Sunday afternoon from 1pm - 4pm on the patio (weather permitting).

All of our staff are excited for these names to come through and play once again, so we know you'll enjoy them too. Book your tables in advance as space is limited both inside and outside, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
