History in pictures.

Last Sunday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Lynne & Lauren, who had travelled all the way from Canada to visit Scotland — and, as it turns out, to visit a little piece of their own family history.

Their ancestors, the Norwell family, owned this very pub back in the 1910s, when it was known as The Ewe & Lamb.

We were lucky enough to share a cocktail masterclass with them, chat through the history of the building, and raise a glass in a place that clearly still has a few stories left in the walls.
