🛑 That's a wrap on our 2026 season at Route 66! 🛑

What a season it has been! It's been a GREAT season, a BUSY season, and we couldn't be more thankful for everyone who made it possible!

To our locals who continue to support us year after year, our returning visitors who make Route 66 part of their Bar Harbor tradition, and all the new faces we welcomed this year — THANK YOU! We truly appreciate each and every one of you!

And most importantly, a HUGE thank you to our incredible STAFF! ❤️ For six months, this crew has shown up day in and day out, working long hours, juggling busy days, and putting in so much hard work to keep things running. We know this season wasn't always easy, and we couldn't have done it without you. We are so grateful for the team we have!

While we're looking forward to a little downtime, we're already talking about and planning for next year! 🚗💨

Today’s the day! 🍂 Our final day of the 2026 season is here. We will do our best to keep much of the full menu available, but some items may sell out as the day goes on.

Tonight we traded the restaurant for the golf course. 💗⛳

We were proud to be a hole sponsor at Pink on the Links, with our family joining in to support this incredible event. This photo captures our daughter and our General Manager representing Route 66 Restaurant on the course.

Supporting the MDI Hospital Breast Health Center is especially meaningful to us. Cancer prevention, early detection, and access to exceptional local care are causes that are close to our hearts, and we’re grateful to be part of an event that gives back to our community.
