Decarli is an ambitious restaurant created by Jana and Paul DeCarli, a husband and wife team who along with their professional staff, are dedicated to providing an excellent dining experience. Paul, a longtime Oregonian and a graduate of Western Culinary Institute, developed his expertise at many of Portland’s top restaurants including Paragon, Fratelli, Saucebox, and Tuscany Grill where he was Ex

ecutive Chef. Jana, an Oregon native and University of Oregon graduate, established her outstanding service skills and standards at San Francisco’s esteemed 42 Degrees and Portland’s Bluehour. Decarli is committed to showcasing the state’s considerable bounty of seasonal ingredients. Paul’s culinary style draws on his Swiss/Italian-American roots combined with NW bounty to create food that is at once sophisticated and rustic. The DeCarlis have recently moved their restaurant in order to reflect the changing times and add more amenities, a larger bar area and parking for their guests' experiences, just to name a few. Their beautiful new space on Hall Blvd reflects the couple’s approach to food and wine—warm, inviting, open spaces, thoughtful and authentic. The space features gorgeous takes on the modern meets rustic style you've come to know and love at Decarli and boasts high ceilings with soaring beams and rafters. Of course they brought their favorite highlight piece of the dining room with them; the large brass chandelier salvaged from downtown Portland’s historic Benson Hotel.
