We are currently hiring a part-time pastry chef! Come join us in the kitchen with prepping our restaurant and event dessert menu, making and shaping pizza dough, and helping to prepare our breakfast offerings at the inn. This position will be 15-20hrs/week, Tues-Fri 10-3pm.

It is finally feeling like true Spring here at The Tillerman! The ferns are unfurling and taking their places, the choir of songbirds are keeping us lively company, and we are remembering the simple joy of sharing a meal with loved ones outside.

A few menu highlights:

The Onion pizza with spring onions, chives, pickled red onions, caramelized onions, and house mozzarella.

Chicken Liver Mousse with red wine shallots and house made wheat crackers.

Dirty Nelly cocktail with Tito’s, hibiscus simple syrup, ginger liquor, and lime.

We still have a few seats open for our wine tasting tomorrow- Sunday, May 17th from 3-5pm! Enjoy bread, olives, and charcuterie at our long farmhouse table in the Parlor, while Will leads you through six unique pink wines with grapes originating from Italy, France, Vermont, and the Canary Islands. The time has come! Our summer live music series is back every Wednesday starting June 3rd through October 7th! We are thrilled to welcome you all back for the fifth (!) season of this special event- a space for us all to come together and celebrate the joy of summer’s return.

💚The event will be 5-8pm
💚Food & drinks: 5-8pm
💚Music: 6-8pm
las.hermosas will be back this year, serving up the finest authentic Mexican tacos (with a rotating menu each week, including a different vegetarian taco each week!).

You can find the music lineup on our website- link in bio. We have an incredible roster with some of our favorite locals!

🧹A little bit of housekeeping:
-No reservations needed (free admission). The restaurant will be open, so make a reservation on the patio if you’d like to enjoy the best of both worlds!
-Rain or shine, music will move inside the barn if needed
-Kids welcome! But shepherds of little ones, please keep curious hands away from picking the flowers in the garden beds :)
-No dogs
-Carpool as much possible!
-No outside food/beverages
-No smoking
-Bring your own blanket and chairs
-Cash or card for drinks & snacks
-Cash, card, or venmo for food

The ground thawed and just like that, spring projects were off to the races! Our beloved antique 16’ mahogany farmhouse table is getting a new life courtesy of our very own Pat (who you’ll also find in the kitchen and out in the gardens), the side entrance and barn surroundings are being reworked, and there are two BIG additions to our offerings taking shape that we can’t wait to share more about soon ☺️…!

The hammers are out and sawdust is flying, as we continually tend to and reimagine this special, special place.

With the property about to burst into bloom again, now is the season for 2027 wedding tours! Our website offers a thorough look at each of our three wedding packages, but there is nothing quite like experiencing the space in person.

If you’re considering a 2027 wedding here, we would love to welcome you for a tour. Each of our packages include thoughtfully sourced fare from our kitchen, so we always recommend visiting on a day the restaurant is open to get a full sense of what we’re about.

Tours are available Wednesday through Saturday until weddings begin later this month, and then Wednesday through Friday through the summer. Submit an inquiry to get on the calendar, link in bio.

Happy Spring! Come on by Sunday May 17th for Kids Music & Pizza in the Barn! Musician and early educator will be playing music, we will have Roman pizza & festive drinks, donuts, will be there with their new coffee cart, and will be doing 15 minute mini sessions for families (see details in second slide)!
We hope to see you here!

On the menu: Grilled choy sum in an anchovy dressing on top of a turnip purée with eleven brothers goat’s milk gouda & Lamb Skewers with Moroccan spices and sumac onions atop a lemon labneh. The choy sum and turnips are from , and the lamb is from .

With wedding season upon us, there are only a few weeks left for weekend dining here at the restaurant. After the weekend of May 23rd, we will change to our summer schedule through late fall (to be announced soon…with an exciting update!).

Join us for a free film screening and q&a in the barn on Thursday, May 14th from 6-7pm!

is a PBS documentary series, created by Vermont filmmaker Chiara Hollender, that celebrates the women who steward our land and cultivate climate solutions across the nation.

We will be showing two episodes, both featuring New England women, with a q&a with Chiara to follow.

There will be a cash bar during the screening, but if you’d like to join for dinner before or after, please make a reservation.

Up next in our wine tasting series with Will, just in time for warm weather, we will explore all things pink wine! Join us in the parlor on Sunday, May 17th from 3-5pm.

If you’ve had the pleasure of dining with us at The Tillerman, you’ve probably noticed our maitre d’, a tall man named Will. You may have been warmly welcomed by him, or served a fine bottle of wine whilst being told a story of the wine’s provenance.

Will’s exceptional story telling and knowledge of wine will help explore the places and flavors of six unique international grape varietals, all rosé. We will gather around the long farm table in the Parlor to taste all pink wines accompanied by olives, cheeses and charcuterie.

The restaurant is open for regular dinner service on Sundays. If you’d like to stay & dine with us after the tasting, please make a separate dinner reservation. We are offering 10% off your meal with the purchase of a wine tasting ticket.

For Mother’s Day this year, come nestle up against the foothills for a quiet night’s rest. Walking into any one of our seven rooms truly feels like receiving the warmest hug- and for Sunday night stays, we are now offering early check in (1pm) and late check out (noon).

Whether you’re wanting a change of scenery with your family in tow (there are twin beds in Keepsake, North Country, and Outerlands) or to retreat to a quiet haven for just yourself or with a group of mom friends- you’ll feel the warmth of home, but with all the perks of not *actually* being at home! We have a complimentary european-style breakfast spread each morning, luxury organic mattresses from , natural bath products from and (new!), beautifully tiled tubs in many of the rooms (Outerlands, Corrina, Keepsake, Mimi’s Room, and North Country), and our thoughtfully sourced restaurant downstairs will be open Sunday from 4:30-8pm.
