They did the very difficult job of selecting 8 candidates from the nearly 50 applications we received. Thank you Danielle, Jan, Glenn, Colleen, Bette and Melissa! We’ve had so much going on we haven’t properly promoted our music this weekend. We are truly excited about our lineup! Pamela Rocha tonight at 6:30 and Chris & Lou on Saturday starting at 7pm. Both acts are amazing!

These young men and woman have been the backbone of our kitchen for over two years. They are hard working, creative and just good human beings! We are so proud of their accomplishments and their graduation. Each one of them has a bright future ahead of them. Keep working hard and know you always have a place in our hearts. We love you all! Thanks Isaac, Nolan, Suri and Ryan for being an important part of our team!

Today is a Giving Thursday and the amazing Kiwanis Ramp Program will receive all the tips. (Please know we take care of our staff on Giving Days.) We are going to make it a two-fer and ask, especially Kiwanians, to bring in one item for the Riley Komfort Kart box which is currently at the taproom. We are located at 109 S 3rd Street in beautiful downtown Chesterton. We are open from 4 to 8pm today.

We have to admit it was a bit emotional to hand out the first three checks to recipients of the Alex J. Pretti Memorial Scholarship. It was emotional because we were thinking about why these scholarships even exist. And we were thinking about the hundreds of people who came together to make these scholarships available by sharing their hard earned money. And, unfortunately we still think about the amount of negativity and hate that we received during this process. But ultimately we felt joy knowing that our community drove out that hate with more light & love than we could have ever imagined. YOU ARE THE HEROES! And we thank you and we love you!

Open at 4pm today! We love our Trivia crew that comes in every Wednesday! If you haven’t participated in our trivia, put a team together and be here by 6pm. You’ll have a blast! We’re also working on a new appetizer that may be available today. Smoked Cream Cheese with different toppings such as bacon jam, jalapeño jam and different herbs and spices. It’s delicious!
