The one-of-a-kind paintings created by Lia Nickson, mother of Wishbone owner and chef Joel Nickson, have been an iconic part of the restaurant from the very beginning.

Now, many of these extraordinary original works will be offered for sale through Potter & Potter Auctions on November 19 at 10am!

You don't have to attend in person to bid! You can view the artwork and participate in the auction online.

There will also be a special reception on Sunday, November 15, from 1–4 p.m., where you can see the paintings in person and join Joel Nickson for a conversation with Potter & Potter's art director, Aron Packer, at 2 p.m.

The Nickson family is pleased to share that a selection of original paintings by Lia Nickson, whose distinctive artwork filled our walls, will be offered by Potter & Potter Auctions this November. We hope you’ll join us for a reception celebrating Lia, her artwork and the Wishbone community. Joel will be there and we’d love to see some familiar faces! Sunday November 15th from 1-4pm

We are saddened to announce that, after 36 years, Wishbone is closing.

We do not yet have a final closing date, but our goal is to remain open through the end of August.

If Wishbone has ever been part of your life, we hope you'll stop by, share a meal, and let us thank you in person.
