Dear Luther College Class of '26,
Yesterday was your turn,
To celebrate with friends & family all that you had learned.

You squeezed as much as you could into the last 4 years.
We're honored you chose to do your learning here.
It's the town we've called home, since when we both walked the stage.
(Yet it feels like just yesterday that we were your age.🤷‍♀️)

As you prepared for Commencement we knew it'd be bittersweet,
So we tried to soften the blow, and sent you off with a Sugar Bowl treat.

We know it wasn't much, but we wanted you to know,
You'll always be welcome here. Decorah will always be your home.
We hope that you'll be back, but since nobody knows when,
For now it's simply "See you later!" until we see you again.

When you need a reminder of how amazing you are,
Take a road trip our way. You won't have to look far.
For even our cans remind you Decorah can't be beat.

‼️2026 Grads‼️: Today kicks off our first-ever "Gift Card Give Back" happening today & Friday at Mill Street Mocha.

Last Sunday High School Seniors (including our one and only ) got a free scoop at Sugar Bowl, and this coming Sunday it's Luther's turn for a free sweet treat, so in the meantime we're inviting all of YOU to the opportunity to treat someone you care about with a small token of thanks.

BRING YOUR CAP, and buy a drink at on Thursday or Friday, tell our team at the register who you'd like to give a $5 gift card to, and then we encourage you to hand-deliver your gift card when the time is right for you to do so!

Here's some examples:
Buy a 24oz Strawberry Fields, get a $5 Gift Card for your Coach.

Buy a 20oz Chai, get a $5 Gift Card for your favorite Professor/Teacher.

That's it! Buy any drink and get a $5 Gift Card for your teacher, Grandparent, Boss, Coach, favorite Custodian, Bus Driver, Professor, Physical Therapist etc

Limitations:
Even if you're a super loving human, you can only get 1 "gift card give back" this week.

Even though we trust you're the best sibling and/or friend EVER, your siblings and peers don't qualify. This time we're looking for the adults who helped shaped the last 18+ years of your life, and when you choose them, the next time they get a drink, sandwich, cone or dish at Mill Street Mocha or Sugar Bowl they get to be reminded that all of their efforts are seen by you. That you saw them as much as they believed in you. ❤️

Did you know you can get whipped cream added to any of our drinks? Whether it's Hot Cocoa, Smoothies, or a blended Mocha, the choice is yours! Changed your mind? Don't worry, we can add it on at the end, maybe even some chocolate drizzle too! But as fun and easy as it looks (to some of us) we can't exactly take it away once it's on there. And Avery is thankful for that fact.

Our second Sip n' Shop is Saturday (say that seven times fast). Nomad Boutique is back in the Mill Street Mocha drive-thru Saturday from 9am-1pm (Mill Street will have regular hours of 7am-1pm). Shopping, Sweets and Flowers all in one location...frosting flowers that is! Monster Cookie Bars have arrived and they are ALMOST too pretty to eat. (PS Mom definitely wants this kind of bouquet AND floral ones, just trust us!)

Now that these two cuties have your attention, reminder Mill Street Mocha will be closing at 11am today (Tuesday April 21). We will resume our regular hours tomorrow.

We also wanted to remind you that we serve complimentary pup cups! So when they give you those (literal) puppy eyes to hoping you'll share YOUR treat with them, you can instead hand them their own cup of whipped cream and mini bones and everyone wins! You both get something delicious, they won't be afraid to get in the car, and every once in a while they may casually suggest that you turn into the drive-through, taking care of one of the many decisions you have to make every day.

Come visit us this morning before 11 AM and enjoy the beautiful day!

REMINDER we have adjusted hours this week:
Mill Street Mocha:
Regular hours Monday (6:30-2pm)
Closing early on Tuesday (6:30-11:00 AM)

Sugar Bowl:
CLOSED Monday
Tuesday 3pm-9pm

Both locations will resume normal hours on Wednesday.

In the meantime we'll be catering and hosting the RESET Conference!

One year ago at RESET 25 Mill Street's Blue Raspberry Blast cans were still a work in progress. We got to give a preview at the conference, but we were still finalizing the label and recipe. One year later you can now enjoy them as is, over ice, or our favorite options: as a float! Combining the best of both worlds: Mill Street Mocha's Blue Raspberry Blast + Sugar Bowl's Vanilla Ice Cream (or whatever flavor you choose).

That's just a little behind the scenes what can come out of two days of brainstorming, networking, growing both personally and professionally alongside 50 other incredible individuals.

So CHEERS to teamwork making the dreams work. We'll see you in our respective businesses later this week!
