Crispy snappy purple endive, mixed greens, buttery castelvetrano olives, and allll the herbal zing from a gremolata vinaigrette….top it off with ricotta salata (optional) and toasted almonds (also optional), and we’ve got a banger of an early summer salad.

We’re so excited to add wine to our menu! Our little list leans towards natural, organic, and biodynamic (often with a little funk to it), and these are no exception. Currently in rotation are the Dorcha Welshreisling and the woman-owned Sparkling Rosé of Tempranillo.

Think slightly sweeter, light and airy and supermoist blueberry muffin, right down to that light sugar-crackle on top. How do you make a vegan lemon curd?!?! I have no idea, but Joe is a bit of a magician with this kind of thing.

Oyster mushrooms, crispy shallots, baby kale salad, e###tra cheese.
Put a bird on it. Add a side of slaw. Play your cards right and we can even slap a beef cheek on there. A few nights ago we ate one with meatballs and piquillo tomato sauce. It’s mac n cheese, it goes with everything.

Bringing this one back, because…well, we couldn’t stop thinking about it. Herbed barley with a hit of funky preserved lemon, spring leek and scallion soubise, and some crunchy fresh whimsy on top of steelhead trout.

She’s bright and beautiful, topped with macerated shallots, citrus vinaigrette, arugula, goat cheese, and roasted pistachios. A colorful plating, to be sure, but this one just feels good to eat.
