Something new for sauna season.

We’re stocking the Farm Store with a new lineup of N/A drinks, including Fancy Dram spritzers in Fernet, Palo Santo, Citrus, and Hair of the Dog, plus Lapo’s N/A Negroni, Limoncello, Espresso Martini, and Amaro.

And for the colder days, we’ll have hot spiced chai, hot c***r, tea, and coffee.

Sauna, cold plunge, something good to drink. Sounds about right.

The saunas are hot. The river is cold. Sauna season is officially back.

We’re settling into our fall routine at the Farm Store, open Thursday through Sunday from 10–4 for oysters, b**r and w**e. Sauna sessions along the Damariscotta are available Thursday through Sunday, sunrise to sunset.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and if oysters are on the menu, we’ve got a little advice on how many to order.

We recommend planning for 3–6 oysters per person if you’re serving them as an appetizer before the turkey. If oysters are playing a bigger role in the meal, plan for 6–12 per person. And if you’re skipping the turkey altogether and making oysters the main event? A dozen or more per person should do the trick.

Now’s a good time to start counting your guests and planning your oyster order. We’ll have Thanksgiving ordering details to share soon!

Another round of seed splitting on the farm.
As the oysters grow, they need a little more room. The crew regularly divides them between cages to prevent overcrowding and make sure they have plenty of access to the food flowing through the river.
It’s all part of keeping up with growing oysters.

Fall has made its way to the Nonesuch.
The days are getting shorter and the water is getting colder, but there’s still plenty happening out on the river.
We’re still tending cages, checking on oysters, and making the most of the growing season before winter settles in.

Sauna season is getting closer.
The Farm Store is taking a short break before we settle into our fall schedule.
Starting October 24, we’ll be back Thursday through Sunday from 10–4, with sauna sessions from sunrise to sunset. Warm up in the sauna, cool off with a cold plunge in the Damariscotta, then head to the Farm Store for oysters, b**r and w**e.
