As often happens at the Frosted Fig, someone will ask “do you make” fill in the blanks. This time it was an Austrian Sacher Torte Cake. Well I can now say yes to that question. This cake is in the history books as one of Europe’s best cakes. A moist chocolate sponge, coated and filled with a fine layer of apricot jam before being cloaked in a smooth glaze. This cake defines elegance.
