Join us early 5-7pm to take advantage of our happy hour menu. We got a chance to cop the red vinyl early today, and were fortunate enough to have heard it in it’s in entirety to know what a treat it will be to hear it on the bar system. After 13 long awaited years….the hype behind this one was well deserved. Album play time @ 6pm tomorrow. See you then!

Music Fans First is the 1st and 2nd Wednesdays every month.

Bring some records or a crate and get an allotted time to play your favorite tracks. No need to blend- you can just rock one after another. This is for all you DJs and non-DJs out there that just want a chance to present music on a proper sound system. Come play with us.

P.S. - If you are a new participant please note these rules of engagement: you need to bring your own records and your own headphones. There are no “house records”. This event is specifically for playing vinyl. We will not have the CDJs available. In signing up please only take one time slot. Once you arrive, please check in with the bar and we will help you settle in before you play.

This one has been a long time coming. After
much patience, and eager anticipation, we are proud to finally announce the long awaited return of —- Chicago’s Very Own…..GLENN UNDERGROUND!

All too often, words like “icon” or “pioneer” or “legend” are erroneously ascribed to various figures in the dance music ecosystem. That wouldn’t be the case here. He is one of the great talents of any generation, since the conception of this thing we call House Music. Whatever direction, shape & form the music has taken over the decades - he’s done it all, and at the highest level. One only needs to reference his extensive, and ever-growing discography - to get a sense of his mastery within this world of music. Raw, deep, jazz, afro, spiritual, acid, future funk, space disco, tribal, conscious & especially soulful….dude has brilliantly covered it all.
You might even hear some of his records get played in clubs that are primarily known as techno venues.

Because he is a true artist, an extremely talented musician & bad ass producer; his DJ skills can understandably be overshadowed by those facts. Make no mistake about it though, in the booth he is one bad man. He has to be quite selective in the gigs he chooses to take, and for good reason. Given how seriously he takes his craft, the countless hours spent in the studio, and relentless dedication to the quality of musical output that results from doing so; it shouldn’t be a surprise as to why we don’t get the opportunity to see him on the west coast very often. This is a very rare opportunity to see one of the genres’ giants in an intimate location. Don’t sleep on this one….
