Our farm is getting dressed up for summer. 🐞 We’re opening l’Orto on Friday, June 5 for the first Garden Pizza & Wine Fridays. Our recurring summer series that features a different winemaker or wine theme every week.

A perfect stop on the way to Rose Fest activities. 🌹

You do not need to drink wine or buy a flight to come. Purchasing your tasting ahead of time offers preferred pricing, but we welcome everyone to swing by.

Wood-fired pizza, salads and garden inspired vegetable sides will be available from our outdoor kitchen.

NA Beverages for the kiddos, and the occasional full bar pop-up from will be rockin’. There is something for everyone in l’Orto.

TONIGHT we celebrate Nicholas Suhor. Our Dir of Operations, wine nerd, design nerd, leader, and friend. He’s known to open very special bottles for his day of birth and today you’re invited.

Enoteca Nostrana will be pouring a tiny flight of Italian wines from the year 1979: his birth year.

We’ll pour two or three wines, depending on what’s showing best, for the deeply scientific price of $19.79. Very limited pours available, while the bottles (responsibly) last.

Our second time at Friendraiser and we had such a great time! We picked two recipes from Cathy’s book The Italian Summer Kitchen to serve the best plate of summertime food we could think of: then it rained all day!

Weather be darned, we still came to play like the summer-lovers we are. Pollo alla Diavola (lemon-herb marinated chicken that we grilled to order) atop Sicilian potato salad (packed with olives, capers, tomatoes and vinegar). Our table was decorated with cardoons and flowers from our kitchen garden, l’Orto, freshly picked from the fields just before the event.

We think our chicken+potatoes was a perfect match to the other dishes from neighboring chefs. Thanks for the delicious bites: Bellwether Bar, Yalla, SOHO House, L’Echelle and Akadi.

Friends of the Children Portland has been supporting youth in our community since 1993, pairing children facing immense obstacles with professional mentors from kindergarten to college.

Thanks to master event planner for putting this together. It’s an honor to support such a great group. And and for being the top hospitality teams in the biz!!!

We’re still thinking about the incredible success of the UKANDU fundraiser last Friday. We had the honor of serving food alongside some of Portland’s best chefs and winemakers (it’s a lot of fun to work with friends)!

This is one of the best events we’ve been a part of and for such a great organization. Thanks for all you do, .kan.du we hope the paddle raise was a huge success!
