The restaurant expanded in 2021 to a larger space right next door, leaving in its original place our happy little wine bar, Juliet social club. Juliet is the first Brick & Mortar home for Bread & Salt Hospitality is a place to share our favorite things with our neighbors. Juliet is destination dining by night with a regularly rotating menu of prix fixe options that is more of a performance; dinin

Nowruz mobarak — Happy 1405 🌱

Juliet is back with Persian New Year for the 13th year in a row.

Our oldest tradition —
three years older than the restaurant itself.

Missed the opening celebration?
You can still experience Nowruz at Juliet —
the full menu, music, and spirit of spring —
now through Monday, March 30.

Already part of your tradition?
Tell us your favorite Nowruz memory ↓

New to Persian New Year?
We’d be honored to introduce you.

Nowruz is a 3,000-year-old celebration of spring and renewal,
centered around traditions like the sofreh-ye haft-sin — the table of seven symbolic “S” items.

At Juliet, our Nowruz reflects:

• Katrina’s family roots from Tehran
• Josh’s connection to Afghanistan and Persian language
• And a shared exploration of ghazā-ye irāni (Iranian cuisine)

A new year.
A new season.
A table worth gathering around.

See our stories for a link to Juliet’s (officially unofficial) Nowruz primer.

🚨 Tonight only

We’re serving zereshk polo ba morgh — saffron rice with barberries + braised chicken — for Persian New Year 🌱

With mast o khiar (herbed yogurt, rose petals) and salad Shirazi.

Tomorrow is our modern Nowruz dinner (a few seats left)…
but tonight is something different:

home-style. simple. straight from the heart.

Josh cooked this all day at home —
and our first guest said: “it tastes just like my mom’s.”

👉 Come grab a plate before it’s gone

Every year on November 10th, Marines gather — in barracks, in ballrooms, and sometimes around tables like this one — to mark the birth of their Corps.
Two hundred and fifty years of tradition, of courage, of promises kept.

The same words are spoken each year:
honor, courage, commitment.
The same gestures repeat:
a cake cut by the NCO or Mameluke sword,
a slice passed from the oldest to the youngest,
a toast to the fallen —
and for a moment, the noise of the world goes still.

This dinner was part of that lineage.
Plates that told a story of service and homecoming — their names: air, land, and sea and Air Wing; small comforts shared in good company.

For those who have worn the uniform, and for those who simply understand what it means to serve — thank you.

Through December 14, we continue that spirit with a Toys for Tots drive here at Juliet. Bring a new, unwrapped toy when you visit. A small kindness, passed forward — the same way Marines have always done.

Semper Fidelis. Always faithful. Always forward.
