Frosting Factory was at the Spring Brunch last Sunday with our floral cookie decorating display. The floral cookies display was inspired by the artist . (Thank you Anna for your encouragement).
We delighted all the children at the Spring Brunch with their very own floral cookke decorating buffet and nI’m happy to say we had some adult children enjoy the experience as well. I’m thankfully for the inspiration and the opportunity to bring it to life at the CapitalRoots Roots Spring Brunch.
And last but not least, my son was an amazing helper carrying all the terra cotta pots down the concourse of the Plaza. But he wasn’t all brawn, he also had a hand in the set up and guiding some of the littles through the decorating. If anyone is interested in a box of floral cookies and icing kits,

A few mishaps went wrong with the practice batch for the workshop but we got it straightened out. I love it when I test something in advance and I’m so glad I didn’t try it at game time. I asked Gemini for a no chill no spread recipe to try something new and my cookies spread all over the place like so badly I had to recut them with the cutter after cooking and it worked. Strike 1. My icing transfers weren’t fully dry and my chickie broke but we fixed her up. The demo cookies ended up prettty good for the trial run. **Last call for Thursday’s workshop in Clifton Park. We still have some seats left.

I couldn’t help but make these sprinkles inspired by and meant to give to but the cucumbers or dill pickled are all me (even if it was accidental). I think they maybe welcomed into the charm world all the same 😊Heading into the city to catch a glimpse of the Betsey Johnson x pop up but with our drive time it’ll probably be a Wally World result. Hope for the best. Enjoyed the pop up photos and memories in some of my fashions.

I’m feeling pretty accomplished if not a teeny bit of concern that I was able to write my name backwards inside a coffee mug with a bag of icing. 🤔😊Having at least 1 piping bag of icing with my coffee was marvelous. 2was fantastic. And since our icing is royal icing based, there is the added benefit of protein and NO additives or preservatives (or any other synthetic or ingredients). If you would like any icing for Easter, please reach out as supplies are always limited. Our next sprint will be for Mother’s Day.

Happy Friday everyone. Easter Cookie Decorating Details. Workshop is this Thursday April 2. Registration is open through Tuesday. You will have exclusive one of a kind chunky oversized cookies. I forgot to mention we will be trying lemon and blueberry flavor in the blueberry and yellow icing. And wait until you see how we will make the edible version of the mini Pom Pom craft baubles. Don’t you love the craft sprinkles. I want to put sprinkles in all my Easter cards but I already mailed them out. Big bunny cookie kits will be available at the workshop as well! Our Frosting is tons of fun. You can even spread it with a fork?! That’s right, fork it around and create patterns and textures. This was the fun version (I had so much fun with it but I also could have spent hours and hours creating perfect fur like texture. It’s still and 1- 2 hour activity with some parts drying while you work on other areas. I’m obsessed with frosting (obviously) but this cookie and icing set has my heart too.

I’m working on cookie & icing sets. A little obsessed with trying out packaging concepts and supplies. This prototype packs a fun little punch with a sample of 3 icing jars, sprinkles, 8 or so little sugar cookies and some tools. I shared some Lucky Shamrock cookie kits this week in hopes of spreading some cheer and getting some feedback. I used AI to see my little packaging prototype/set up come to life. It gave me a good vibe. What do you think? I’m putting together the Easter kit next.
