To complement our amazing line up of artists conducting workshops at the Cottage we are looking for an experienced local potter to teach pottery/ceramic classes. Will need access to a kiln and ability to provide all required materials to hold a class.

The monthly market initiative was born from a want to showcase and support Perth hills artisans.
It is a small market with only 5-6 vendors but the hope is it will be well supported by the local community.
To create a point of difference from other markets ours has a plant/garden/outdoor theme.
We have everything crossed the weather is fine this Sunday (26 July) and the market can be held.

On Sunday the team from banksia brush collective hosted a watercolour for beginners workshop at the Cottage. All attendees did an amazing job and went home with a beautiful piece of art to proudly hang in their home.
Congratulations Shamiah Beck you did an amazing job. Well done.
The next workshop is sold out but watch this space as more are scheduled.

Loving the beautiful camellia Desire blooms. The Winter garden is looking incredible and there are signs of Spring as bulbs start coming to the surface and the sweet peas starting climbing the trellis.

Feel Good Friday

The Bellevue Cottage team proudly donated their tip money totalling $800 to People Who Care - Starting over Support today.
It is a great feeling to give back to the local community via an amazing organisation supporting those in need.

When discussing the Cottage renovation with customers I will often credit Pinterest for generating ideas and inspiration however I did have another source of help and that was from Linda Woods Design. Linda is an amazing local designer.
I have been lucky enough to attend one of Linda’s designer courses and we have work together one on one.
I am thrilled to let you all know that Linda’s workshops are back and being held in Guildford. I highly recommend the workshops and encourage anyone who is about to embark on a renovation or new build project to attend or use Linda’s services. These workshops sell out fast so get in quick.

How wonderful are these warm winter days?

We had an amazing finish to our weekend with the super talented Cath from Garden of Weaving holding a wall art workshop using only natural fibres.
I was green with envy at those attending and the beautiful pieces they created.
Thanks to everyone who came along.
Cath will be back on the 2 August hosting a basket weaving workshop. Tickets are selling quickly.

The BC team will be back at 7am tomorrow morning with delicious coffee and food.

Last Friday a very talented group attended our Windchime workshop. Their creations were incredible and add sound and colour to their gardens. Thank you to everyone who attended.
