This week’s challenge, heard from a very sweet friend in the Grab&Go today :

“My friend is sick & I want to take dinner off her plate… but there’s so much to choose from!”

First, THANK YOU! We try to offer variety & a little something for everyone! Second, We told her not to overthink it- we helped her pick out dinner for her friend + something for her family too!

She snagged a classic French Onion Soup (which comes with our house-made croutons & freshly shredded gruyere) & a fresh baguette on the side. ✨👏

Y’all, one post just wasn’t enough. 🤍

We’ve always said that The Kitchen is about so much more than food. It’s about the community that continues to show up for us in ways big and small.

Being recognized with the Trailblazer Award is something we’ll be proud of for a long time, but getting to share moments like these with the people who have helped us get here? That’s the really good stuff.

So here’s to our people. The ones behind the scenes, behind the counters, around the tables, and cheering us on every step of the way.

We couldn’t possibly fit all of our gratitude into one post (or apparently all of our pictures, either 😉).

Thank you for being part of our story. We’re so glad you’re in it.✨

Where do we even begin? 💙

Today, we are feeling an overwhelming amount of gratitude.

To be recognized by the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce with the 2026 Trailblazer Award is an incredible honor. But what makes this recognition so special isn’t simply what we’ve built. It’s WHO we’ve built it with, and the community we’ve built it for.

The Kitchen has grown, changed, taken chances, and found new ways to serve the place we are so fortunate to call home. And through every season, one thing has remained constant: the people.

Our team is made up of more than 70 incredible individuals who don’t just work in this community- they ARE this community. They’re your neighbors, your friends, your family, and the familiar faces who welcome you through our doors each day. They are the heart of everything we do, and we could not be prouder of the people who make The Kitchen what it is.

And to our customers, our friends, and this wonderful Lowcountry community: thank you. Thank you for showing up, spreading the word, bringing your families, sharing your celebrations, and choosing to support our local business. You’ve given us the opportunity to grow, to create jobs, to dream a little bigger, and to keep doing what we love.

We have never taken that for granted.

This recognition belongs just as much to the hands that prepare your meals, the smiling faces behind our counters, and the people who walk through our doors as it does to the name on our building.
