Okay… Chester may have gotten his own sticker sheet yesterday, but apparently that was not enough attention for him. 😼

This brand-new Chester sticker just arrived, and it might be my favorite one yet.

Grumpy face. Blue chair. Snacks everywhere. Remote in paw. Donut in hand. Absolutely no motivation to help with anything.

Basically, Chester in his most honest form.

It has been such a fun first day since launching The Bridge of Stars: Miri’s Wish, and I’m so thankful for everyone. Seeing people support this little story already means so much.

After almost a year of work, **The Bridge of Stars: Miri’s Wish** is finally here. ✨

This children’s fantasy chapter book has been one of the most meaningful creative projects I’ve ever brought to life.

Some of you may remember *A Very Chester Christmas*, the short Christmas story we shared as a free PDF download last year. The positive feedback from that story, along with the excitement for the full book, meant so much as this project continued to grow.

Thank you all so much for the love, prayers, messages, and kind words you shared after my last post about my dad.

I wanted to share one more photo that means a lot to me.

This was one of my dad’s last big meals.

He loved crab, but growing up he never felt like the real thing was worth the cost — so on special occasions he’d buy imitation crab instead. He was a saver… never spent money unless he absolutely had to.

So while he was still able to eat a little, I decided to surprise him.

I brought over a massive king crab and lobster tails, and we had a meal together.

Some of life’s holiest moments happen over a shared meal — where gratitude is unspoken, love is understood, and time feels like it slows just enough to be treasured.

I’m really grateful we had that time together.

Thank you again for surrounding our family with so much kindness and support. It hasn’t gone unnoticed, and it won’t be forgotten. ❤️

p.s. I just noticed that my dad and I are each wearing the exact same shirts as we did in the last image I posted :). This is soooo us lol.

I don’t usually share personal things on our pages, but today is a heavy day.

After two years of fighting esophageal cancer, my dad is finally home with the Lord.

He wasn’t just my father — he was my best friend. He stood beside me as the best man at my wedding, and he was the kind of man I could always count on. Steady. Faithful. He never let me down.

One of my favorite memories as a kid was our John Wayne movie nights. I’d curl up next to him on the couch and rub my face against his rough stubble while we watched. It’s such a small, ordinary memory — but somehow it holds so much. Comfort. Safety. Home.

Watching someone you love fight that hard for that long leaves a mark on your heart. I’m deeply heartbroken, but also grateful knowing he’s no longer in pain… that he’s whole again, and finally at peace.

I know there are so many people who loved him and were shaped by the man he was.

If you could keep my family in your prayers in the days ahead, I would truly appreciate it.

Love you forever, Dad.
