The view from the doorway into the kitchen. Well, more of a portal for many of us. It’s a good place to set down the difficulties of life for about eight hours, take a deep breath and walk into a fresh mindset. Sure it’s cliche, but we really are a little family here. For some of us, we get our counciling here, from one another. For other’s it’s a place to secure a ride to the airport tomorrow, or get some help moving. Maybe it’s a place to Zen out while folding crab rangoons for three hours. Car broke down? No worries, at least three people will just offer to pick you up for work the next day. Ya, professional kitchens can be quite stressful, but it ends and we know that. I’ve always said “the best therapy is getting your butt kicked on the line”- because there’s no room in your brain for anything other than what you need to do for the next 5-6 minutes at a time. 😊💕

Sure, it’s cliché, but in a lot of ways we really are a little family here. Some of us find our counseling from our peers. Need a ride to the airport, or a hand moving? You’ll find it here. Snowed in and can’t get out of your driveway? One of our leaders will actually come plow it for you. Car breaks down? You know at least three people who’ll show up to drive you to work tomorrow.💯

I’ve always said there’s no better therapy than getting your butt kicked on the line — there’s simply no room in your brain for anything other than what you need to do for the next four or five minutes.🔪

WHO out there thinks they can finish this meat mountain we call The Epic Burger??? 🍔 This intimidating stack of YUM is an 8oz grass-fed Lucas Farm beef patty, sautéed mushrooms, Blue Ledge Farm’s Middlebury Blue cheese, bacon, a crispy fried onion nest, AND truffle oil, all stacked on brioche and served over a bowl of fries with a bacon-tomato skewer flag (so if you actually manage to conquer the giant juggernaut, you can stake your claim) on top. 🍟
