Portland Pottery offers pottery, jewelry making, sculpture and a wide assortment of classes and workshops to artists of all ages, ability levels and backgrounds. The clay studio features a spacious area organized for wheel throwing, hand building, kiln firing, jewelry making, metal casting and studio rental. The skilled and experienced instructors and teachers of Portland Pottery are highly commen

ded for their patience, clay knowledge and the personalized attention they give each student. The supply stores are a full service ceramic and pottery supply, stocking a wide variety of clay, glazes, kilns, wheels and other pottery, studio and ceramic equipment. We also have books, tools, brushes, self-hardening clays, raw materials and much, much more. Browsers are welcome.

Today’s gallery feature is Portland Pottery instructor, Guenola Lefeuvre!

Guenola (aka Textured Porcelain) works primarily in Porcelain with a strong focus on surface design inspired by her garden and the Maine coast. She’s been a dedicated teacher at Portland Pottery since 2018.

Don’t miss her solo exhibition, A Garden Within, opening April 17 at the Center for Maine Craft in Gardiner. Her work is also featured in the gallery at Portland Pottery - open daily 9 to 5!
